However, the protection obtained from aspirin was less statistically obvious in hypercholesterolemic patients (HR 1.00, 95% CI 0.79‐1.27; P for interaction of dyslipidemia subgroup=0.16), and in those with a history of hypertension (HR 0.86, 95% CI 0.73‐1.01) despite the presence of a clear trend (Figure 4 ).
