In cell cycle assays, lapatinib treatment resulted in increased G1 (62.5 ± 3.4%) and sub-G1 (13.5 ± 7.4%) fractions, and lapatinib in combination with APR-246 caused a lower level of G1 arrest (55.7 ± 4.3%) and an increase in the sub-G1 fraction (24.9 ± 11.85%), suggesting induction of apoptosis, however these differences did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 3 E). 2.4.
