Participants from Jamaica scored significantly higher on the conscientiousness scale (3.8±0.6 vs 3.4±0.7, P <0.05), while participants from Canada scored higher on the neuroticism scale (3.2±0.7 vs 2.8±0.8, P =not significant), though the difference did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 1 ).
