Figure 5 c presents the amplitude of the BE-bleach after exciting the 2S transition of the unpassivated QDs, the InCl 3 passivated QDs and the core–shell–shell QDs. The ingrowth follows a clear trend with increasing PLQY; better passivation of the CdSe QDs leads to a higher contribution of holes to the BE-bleach.
