History of any of the outdoor occupations investigated (OR 1.92, 95% CI 0.76–4.86, p = 0.17) as well as diagnoses of actinic keratosis (OR 1.24, 95% CI 0.59–2.63, p = 0.57), melanoma (OR 4.24, 95% CI 0.46–39.2, p = 0.17) and pterygia (OR 2.29, 95% CI 0.92–5.71, p = 0.07) also exhibited elevated risk of OSSN but did not reach statistical significance (Table 1 ).
