For patients with late prophylactic cranial irradiation, the rates of brain metastasis tended to be higher in the TDRT group but marginally significant (HR, 1.81; 95% CI, 0.99-3.31; P = .05), and the rates of brain metastasis were not significantly different among those who received early prophylactic cranial irradiation (HR, 1.39; 95% CI, 0.49-3.99; P = .54).
