Consumption of grains, roots, and tubers was nearly universal and was the highest among the six food groups regardless of child age and year of survey; however, there was a decreasing trend in feeding children grains, roots, and tubers, most evident in the youngest age group from 2001 (91%) to 2014 (69%) ( p ‐trend < 0.001).
