Female predominance was higher in the PEX syndrome/cataract group (63.6% female and 27.4% male) and POAG/cataract group (63.0% female and 27.0% male) as compared with the PEX glaucoma/cataract group (54.5% female and 36.5% male); however, this difference did not reach statistical significance (χ 2 =0.486; ss=2; p=0.784).
