Considering results from all three groups together, the median age of presumptively regressively-infected cats (range 2–16 years, median 10 years) was greater than the median age of presumptively progressively-infected cats (range 0.4–11 years, median 5 years), although the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.064; Mann–Whitney U -test), and the ages of only 3/27 FeLV-infected cats in Group 3 were known.
