Although the results of comparisons of different groups of patients indicated that atypical DHL/THL associated with inferior prognosis, while as the incidences of the extra copies of MYC, BCL2 and BCL6 were low, only 12 patients with atypical DHL/THL were included in our study, making our study exploratory rather than definitive, which suggested that patients with extra copies of MYC and BCL2 and/or BCL6 might showed a trend towards poor clinical outcome.
