[ 15 ] also found a trend towards a longer survival for local recurrences (31.8 months) and lung metastases (27.6 months) than for liver metastases (13.9 months): although it did not reach statistical significance, this finding further supports the idea of a possible survival benefit of second surgery for isolated local recurrences and solitary lung metastases.
