Although inconsistency of responding (calculated using IIV on the SART) did not discriminate the retired players from controls or the higher concussion exposure group from the lower exposure group (though marginally significant differences were observed), it was predictive of neuropsychiatric outcomes in the former players—in particular, PAI Depression and Aggression scores.

The sentences
In partial support of our hypotheses, ANOVA results indicated that errors of commission, F (2, 87) = 3.27, p < 0.05, but not IIV, F (2, 87) = 3.04, p = 0.053 (approaching significance), on the SART was significantly different between groups.
