Neither adherence to medication nor changes were recorded in any study, although unmedicated participants who undertook IRT showed a trend towards a greater reduction in SBP than their medicated counterparts; mean difference −10.18 mmHg (−15.50 to −4.86) medicated versus −5.86 mmHg (−9.19 to −2.54) unmedicated.
