Although upregulation of miR-143 by TGF-β1 did not reach statistical significance in either WT- or F508del-CFBE cells in the small RNA-seq experiments ( Figure 8 ), miR-143 was present in the Ago2 IP complex in the WT- and F508del-CFBE cells and TGF-β1 increased its co-IP with Ago2 in both cell lines ( Figure 9 E).
