In a study carried out by Kosumi and colleagues, considering BRAF-mutated CRC, the subgroup with higher COX-2 expression presented lower disease-specific survival (DSS) (HR 2.44; 95% CI 1.39–4.28); the association between COX2 and worse survival did not reach statistical significance in the BRAF-WT population (HR 0.82; 95% CI 0.65–1.04).
