We can observe that, in this population, the SNPs in the LEPR have a highly significant association with leptin levels, both in the crude model and in the models adjusted for age and sex, the rs10749753-LEPR SNP (MAF: 0.30) being the one that presented the highest statistical significance ( p = 0.016) in the whole population, with the minor allele related with higher leptin levels.
