Furthermore, we specifically examined the 91 signature genes significantly associated with iPSCORE iPSC cardiac-fate outcome and found eight with nominally significant expression differences in the same direction (e.g., overexpressed or downregulated) in the two sets of iPSCs ( Figure 5 G), which is 2.5 times more than random expectation (p = 0.012, Fisher's exact test; Figure 5 H).
