However, when including trials of both primary and secondary prevention of CVD with a treatment duration of 4 years or more, aspirin use was associated with slightly significant benefit as regards cancer mortality benefit (RR, 0.83; 95% CI, 0.70–0.98) [ 26 ], as previously reported [ 60 , 62 , 63 , 64 ].
