Separate analysis of the co-housed females only (of which 9 were wild type and 5 were tlr5 −/− ) confirmed all trends observed with the entire (mixed) cohort, but some comparisons (histology, Th1 infiltration) did not reach statistical significance due to smaller sample sizes.
