Among males HF of the youngest age group (65–74 years) we found that exposure to PM 2.5 increased their risk of readmission within 30 days and for men age 75–84, a group with higher baseline mortality than the younger age group, we found that increases in PM 2.5 exposure were associated with increased mortality, though these results did not reach statistical significance.
