In a study of 58,957 patients undergoing PCI, the risk of CIN and nephropathy requiring dialysis (NRD) approached significance when the contrast dose-to-CCr ratio exceeded 2.0 and was dramatically elevated in patients exceeding a contrast dose-to-CCr ratio of 3.0 (Fig. 2 ) [ 110 ].
