Although the absolute number of MIs was higher for both doses of dabigatran, with 44 patients (4.5%) in the 110-mg dual-therapy group compared with 29 (3%) in the triple-therapy group and 26 patients (3.4%) in the 150-mg dual-therapy group compared with 22 (2.9%) in the corresponding triple-therapy group, the observed differences between groups did not reach statistical significance [ 25 ].
