The DHA-enriched formula inhibited NT-proB-type natriuretic peptide (NT-ProBNP) plasmatic elevation after doxorubicin chemotherapy (48 h), suggesting a subclinical cardiotoxicity attenuation and showed a trend towards a lower LVEF decline at 10–12 months when compared to the placebo group.
