Although only 8/18 subjects achieved a 12-month follow-up, the overall mean seizure frequency showed a decreasing trend over time, of different entity according to seizure types: indeed, frequency reduction was more pronounced for tonic-clonic seizures (−91.4%), infantile spasms (IS) (−87.5%) and atonic seizures (−86.5%) compared with focal ones; moreover, responder rate at 3 months was higher for IS and atonic seizures (75% each).
