Although we were unable to detect homocysteine in cells, cysteine levels showed a trend for a CBD‐dependent reduction in wild‐type cells that was absent in the gcvH1 − mutant, also consistent with a role for CBD in regulating GCS‐dependent one‐carbon metabolism.
