Additionally, the temperature of the first stage of deformation (1100 °C) was 50 °C higher than in the case of tests performed in the single-stage compression of the tested steels, while on the basis of these test results a clear trend could be seen that, along with the increase in deformation temperature at a constant rate of plastic deformation, in this case 10 s −1 , the critical crush value decreased from 0.253 to 0.183 for X98 steel and from 0.279 to 0.163 for X105 steel.
