While correlation coefficients relating to soil (or rather, dust fallout to soil) radioactivity show a clear trend (and effect) of humidity and hence that distance dependence increases with increasing dustability and increased fallout by drier weather conditions, the actual correlation factors describe a moderately negative correlation between soil radioactivity and distance from the radioactivity pollution source.
