For Pi although a clear trend was not observed, two scenarios were noteworthy; when across environment heritability of GY was high (>0.55) for instance in EYT2011-12 and EYT2014-15 ( Table 1 ), no variation was observed among models 2, 3, and 4 and they performed equally well over the base model in EYTs ( Figure 4 and Supplementary Table S12 ).
