A small reduction in the number of L4 motor axons between wild type (928 ± 24) and homozygous Bicd2 loxP/loxP (888 ± 23, n = 7; Dunnett’s t -test, p = 0.705) mice was detected, but it did not reach statistical significance (Fig. 2 a).
