The swelling of these conjugates in the same solvents S1 – S5 is shown in Figure 21 . A clear trend is apparent in Figure 21 , for all solvents except S2 (for which the swelling is always poor (1.5–2.0 mL g −1 )), resin‐swelling decreases as the length of the attached peptide increases.
