Although the differences of absolute GTT responses between the groups at the end of the 22-week observation period did not reach statistical significance ( Figure 1 F–H), when analyzed as the % change in the area under the curve (AUC) from 11 to 22 weeks, CS-exposed mice exhibited a significantly higher % change during smoking cessation ( Fig. 1 I).
