Consistent with studies reporting more pronounced effects of social stressors on obesity among females ( Isohookana et al., 2016 ; Suglia et al., 2012 , Suglia et al., 2013 ), our sensitivity analysis suggested a slight positive association between eviction and obesity in older female children, but these results did not reach statistical significance.
