The sentences

Similar to the effects seen in the primary cells from the mice treated in vivo , BMSC-derived osteoblasts treated with navitoclax in vitro were also impaired in their ability to produce a mineralized matrix under osteogenic culture conditions in the presence or absence of dexamethasone ( Figures 3C–F ), although pairwise comparisons did not reach statistical significance in females in the dexamethasone treated cultures, likely because mineralized matrix was substantially lower overall in the cultures from females as compared to males ( Figure 3F ).
