Consistent with this, neutrophils heterozygous form the polymorphism SLC44A2 (R154/Q154) exhibited a trend toward intermediate binding to platelets ( Figure 8f ), although this did not reach statistical significance when compared to the SLC44A2 (R154/R154) (p=0.07) or SLC44A2 (Q154/Q154) (p=0.69) genotypes.
