During wet periods, the mean soil moisture in the P1 site profiles showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with depth, with values of 27.3%, 41.2%, 32.5%, 33.1%, and 31.0% for the 0–10, 10–20, 20–30, 30–40, and 40–50 cm depths, respectively.
