Furthermore, while a woman choosing a delivery site on her own had an association with institutional delivery which did not reach statistical significance (aOR 1.52, 95% CI 0.81–2.83, p = 0.19), the odds of delivering in a facility were nearly twice as great amongst women whose partners helped to choose a delivery site (aOR 1.98, 95% CI 1.16–3.36, p = 0.01).
