Due to the lack of any significant effect of fructose feeding, data were pooled ( n = 10) and analysed by Spearman’s correlation analysis (data not shown), which revealed a highly significant within-subject correlation between intestinal and hepatic fractional DNL values in both the fasted (ρ = 0.939, p < 0.0001) and postprandial states (ρ = 0.818, p = 0.004), indicating a strong association between these two parameters. 3.4.
