In the presence of DPCPX (5 μM), the average time-course of peak amplitudes showed a trend of higher responses compared to control during the first 300 pulses from the beginning of stimulation ( Figures 3B,C mean amplitude = 0.24 ± 0.04 mV in control vs. 0.33 ± 0.12 mV; P = 0.006, paired t -test, t = −5.240; n = 5).
