Although the geographical variation in PBDE levels in this study were only marginally significant, women living in Fresno/South Central Valley had substantially higher levels of certain PBDEs than women residing in the San Francisco Bay Area (e.g., ~ 30% higher wet-weight BDE-47 levels; p = 0.07).
