The incidences of CKD stages 1, 2, and 3 were significantly in favor of the EVR group versus the TAC group at month 6 ( P < 0.001 overall), and they showed a trend in favor of the EVR group at month 24: 45.9%, 31.1%, and 23.0% of EVR‐treated patients had CKD stages 1, 2, and 3, respectively, versus 25.7%, 45.7%, and 28.6% of TAC‐treated patients ( P = 0.05; Fig. 3 ).No patient had CKD stage 4 or stage 5, or required dialysis or kidney transplantation, at either month 6 or month 24.
