While we did not observe increased rates of alternative splicing, we recognize a significant trend of higher expression levels of AUG circRNAs compared to non-AUG circRNAs in both hiPSC-CMs and HUVECs ( Figure 5 A), which is in line with the findings of Stagsted and colleagues [ 49 ].
