The sentences

The analyses for this subgroup confirmed our findings presented in the paper: 1) mothers of HIV+ infants had significantly lower 25(OH)D levels and significantly lower CD4% than mothers of HIV- infants; 2) HIV+ infants had poorer growth status than their HIV- counterparts by almost 1 Z score for both length and weight Z scores, although likely due to small sample size this did not reach statistical significance.
