A similar trend was noted for OS, although this difference did not reach statistical significance (50.4 ± 13.2 to 27.6 ± 3.6 months [ p = 0.058]) (Fig. 7 ).
Interestingly, it is the only Wnt marker tested with a clear correlation to PFS or OS: in our study an elevated expression of snail/ slug in the serous subtype is significantly associated with longer PFS and shows a positive trend for OS.
