Two further studies on maralixabat (SHP625) used for 13 weeks in patients with PBC ( n = 66) and children with Allagile syndrome ( n = 37) revealed alleviation of pruritus in the active groups, but the differences over the placebo groups did not reach statistical significance [ 203 , 204 ].
