Logical models built using Signor data, complemented with some additional ad hoc literature curation, have allowed, for instance, the assembly of several versions of a colorectal cancer model that have quite significant predictive power in assessing the effect of combinations of targeted drugs 109 , 110 , ‡ on cellular states, and they can be used to identify potential synergistic drugs that together are more effective for inhibiting cell proliferation than separately.
