Based on log-rank test results, the difference in the survival distributions between two age groups ≥65 years and < 65 years were statistically significant (χ2(1) = 8.73, p = 0.003); but, the differences between males and females did not reach statistical significance (χ2(1) = 2.88, p = 0.09) (Figs. 2 and 3 ).
