Of note, ICD supplementation resulted in higher plasma bilirubin levels in warm and even a little further in cold housed mice compared to CD-fed mice, although the results did not reach statistical significance (warm CD vs. warm ICD, p = 0.139; cold CD vs. cold ICD, p = 0.371) ( Figure 5 E).
