There was a trend towards diminished values of systolic and diastolic diurnal indices in the patient group with normal handgrip test result, but when compared to patients with abnormal handgrip test results, the difference did not reach statistical significance (6.1 vs. 6.4, p = 0.857 and 10.6 vs. 11.4, p = 0.661, respectively).
