Average levels of annoyance (either at day or night) from airport-related activities were higher (>5) than those from other sources and showed a clear trend across acoustic zones in either univariate or multiple regression analyses ( table 3 ); in particular, adjusted mean annoyance scores exceeded by 2.7 (Zone A) and 3.5 (Zone B) units those in the Reference Zone.
