There was no statistically significant difference in MTS activity observed between porous and nonporous microfiber scaffolds with CAM. However, a clear trend was seen that the cells preferred to attach and proliferate on the porous microfiber scaffolds as these scaffolds showed higher MTS activity compared to that of nonporous microfibers, which was statistically significant ( p < 0.05).
